Gantry cranes are generally used in open areas, where a closed area is not needed, and can also be used indoors. The design, engineering, manufacturing and all kinds of technical service of the gantry Crane, which can be used in shipyards, rolling mills, enterprises serving the iron and steel industry, stock areas, marble shops, industrial facilities in machinery manufacturing, and any business that needs to lift loads, is our job. Although gantry cranes are referred to as open area cranes or external cranes, they also have applications in closed areas.

  • Gantry Crane Systems are designed in accordance with ISO, FEM and DIN norms.
  • In gantry cranes, mechanism selections are made in accordance with the desired lifting and running speeds and working class.
  • Bridge beam deflection is calculated as 1/1000 at most.

By having a quieter and more sensitive bearing system compared to its alternatives, it increases the life of the roller, wheel and gear box, and provides a solution against rail defects thanks to the adjustable wheel center and provides +/- 15 mm movement in the centers.

  • The analysis of gantry crane beams is done with the ANSYS program when necessary.
Gantry Cranes Technology Features
  • Double speeds in GANTRY cranes are achieved precisely with a frequency inverter, as well as with a double-speed electric motor.
  • With motor drivers, namely frequency inverters, both stop & start sensitivity is provided and load safety is achieved.
  • Soft starts and stops, shock-free operation and long life are ensured with electric motor and reducer groups specially produced for Gantry Crane
  • Brakes are high torque spring-loaded negative brakes, with twice the torque of the maximum capacity.
  • Gantry crane endcarriages consist of wheel blocks cast from GGG50 material. These wheel blocks are processed precisely with the latest technology, providing long life at the point of bearing and wheel life, as well as providing great advantage in reaching the desired high speeds.
  • The wheel hub is driven by a multi-key system, minimizing the wear on the wheel hub and drive shaft.
  • Crane remote controls are provided by local product radio frequency remote control
  • Loadcell, in other words load-cells, are used for overload protection in traveling cranes.
  • All steel materials are DIN EN 10204 3.1 certified products.
Gantry Cranes Production Features
  • The welds of the gantry bridge beams produced by using quality certified sheets in the production of gantry cranes are controlled by non-destructive methods and the dimensions are controlled according to TS-EN-1090
  • All of the outsources of the gantry bridge beams are welded with submerged arc welding robots.
  • We make special primer and paint applications based on working conditions in our gantry cranes and take measures against corrosion. We can paint in special colors requested by our customers.
  • The cranes can be controlled with push buttons that can move along the beam, as well as remote control or from the cabin.
  • Single or double line C profile cable trolley or I beam cable trolley for heavy conditions can be preferred as current receiver festoon line along the traveling bridge.
  • The hall-length current receiving system of gantry cranes can be preferred with wire-on-wire electrical installation, closed busbar installation or cable winding drum (reel cable).
Gantry Cranes Maintenance And Security  Features
  • All of our gantry bridge cranes are designed in accordance with occupational health and safety standards and procedures.
  • All of our gantry cranes have a maintenance platform in accordance with the standards.
  • Gantry Crane legs have deck ladders for climbing on the crane for maintenance and repair purposes.
  • Travel limiting limit switches are used for all directions.
  • There are Tour switch for crane lowering and lifting motion, T-type limit switches for crane trolley and bridge Endcarriages.
  • All of the limit switches are double stage in the slow & stop logic.
  • There are shock absorbing plastic raw material derivative wedges on the ends of the gantry crane endcarriages.
  • Overload protection, residual current relay, PTC thermistor, collision sensor, emergency stop button, audible & illuminated warning & warning siren are standard protection units in all our gantry cranes.
  • In addition to the gantry crane operating manual, the crane electrical diagram and the manuals of all electrical & electronic parts used in the system are delivered to the customer in the crane electrical panel.
